About Ruth
Growing up in Wales, you don't have to go far before you meet someone who either has a harp or plays the harp. This is exactly what happened to me. When I got to secondary school, they had a harp and offered everyone the opportunity to have lessons. I thought I would give it a go and from there I was captivated. Never did I imagine then, embarking on this 'hobby' aged 12 that it would become my job. I feel extremely fortunate and thankful to be able to combine the two.
As a wedding harpist I have the greatest privilege of being the soundtrack to each couple's most special day.
As a harp teacher I take people from the very start of their musical journey on the harp and gently support and encourage them to achieve what they want from playing this beautiful instrument. Thereby hopefully helping them derive as much pleasure from it as I get.
